Store Policy

Welcome to TJ Collectibles Online. By visiting and shopping at our website, this constitutes accepting our Store Policy, as listed below. Please be sure to read it carefully. We reserve the right to restrict quantities of items and/or cancel any order at any time, for any reason. If said order is paid for, you will receive a full refund. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our store policy, please do not hesitate to ask, we are happy to assist you. This has been updated and is accurate as of February 23, 2011.

 Payment Options 

We accept the following forms of payment: VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover and AMEX; Paypal.com to sales@tjcollect.com, ebay@tjcollect.com or tjcollect@aol.com.  For Pay Pal, this includes both funds you may have in Pay Pal and/or a credit card you have attached to Pay Pal. In addition, we also accept Checks and Money Orders. Please allow 7-11 days for your check to clear. Please NEVER send cash. At this time, we do not accept wire or bank transfers.

 Shipping, Risk of Loss & Returned Shipments 

All items purchased from TJ Collectibles are made based on our contracts with our shipping carriers (Fed Ex and the United States Postal Service). This means that the risk of loss and title pass to you when the product has been accepted by the shipping carrier. The exception is in the event a credit card was used to make the purchase. In this case, the risk of loss does not pass to you until you have received your order from the shipping carrier.

All orders ship within one to two business days. We are not responsible for delivery times once your order has been accepted by the shipping carrier. Nevertheless, please allow up to ten days after the date of shipping for delivery of domestic orders and upwards of thirty days for international orders (depending on location, this time could be shorter). We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience.

Our shipping rates are determined by weight and destination of the package (exact shipping) plus a per item fee. For United States First Class and International First Class, shipping starts at $2.49 and $2.99, respectively. In addition, Delivery Confirmation (domestic only) is included at no extra charge for Priority and Express services. Insurance may be purchased by the buyer in addition to these services (recommended). For Fed Ex, we charge exact shipping plus 25% in order to cover fluctuations in Fed Ex's fuel and service surcharges. There is no per item fee or per pound fee when selecting Fed Ex. Tracking and insurance is included with all Fed Ex shipments, up to $100.00, at no additional charge. 

In-store pick up is available. Simply click the in-store pick up option during check out. In addition, please be sure to write in the comments field, during check out, "In-store pick up." There is a $1.00 service fee for all in-store pick up orders. This service is is available for local, domestic customers only. Please be sure to bring a print out of your invoice and a valid state I.D. to claim your order. In-store pick up orders must be paid online at the time of check out, with either credit card or Pay Pal. In-store pick up orders can not be paid for in person.

We reserve the right to cancel your order if you have selected an inappropriate shipping method. For example, selecting First Class Mail for an order containing sealed product.  You will first be notified to rectify if you wish. If we do not receive a reply regarding your order within three (3) business days, your order will be canceled and your money refunded.

 
For international customers, United States Postal Service First Class International is NOT available to all countries. In addition, we do not ship to the following countries: Mexico, Russia, Italy, all countries in Africa, and all countries in South America. NO EXCEPTIONS. All orders valued at $75.00 USD or more MUST ship with USPS First Class Registered Mail, USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail. NO EXCEPTIONS.

In addition, we fill out all Customs Forms honestly and accurately. Please do not ask us to declare a lower value or declare your item as something it is not. In the United States, you are asking us to break the law. When your order is shipped to you, it is possible the local government may charge fees, duties and/or taxes for these goods. You (the buyer) are entirely responsible for any potential fees, duties and taxes the local government may charge. If we, the seller, are charged for these fees, duties or taxes, we in turn will charge you for these fees. This applies even if you refuse delivery of the shipment or are unable to pick it up for any reason.

If an order is returned to us, due to our failure to put an accurate address; because we have instructed you to refuse this order; because we have shipping the wrong items; or because we asked the shipping company to return the order, then TJ Collectibles is entirely responsible for the shipping charges, both to and from you, the buyer. Otherwise, the shipping costs, both to and from, are your responsibility and any charges made to us will, in turn, be charged to you.

Delivery & Transit Times 
Please be aware that we do not guarantee delivery times as this depends upon the service selected, the shipping carrier and your location. Therefore, all delivery times are estimated.


United States Postal Service - Domestic Delivery Times (to most locations):

• First-Class Mail  - Three to ten business days;
• Parcel Post Mail  - Five to nine business days;
• Priority Mail - Two to five business days;
• Express Mail - One to two business days (next day to some locations).

United States Postal Service - International Delivery Times:

• First Class International - Delivery time depends entirely upon location;
• First Class International Registered - Delivery time depends entirely upo location;
  
• Priority International - Five to fourteen days, depending upon location;
• Express Mail International - Three to ten days, depending upon location;

Some parcels can be delayed due to Customs. Please be patient while awaiting delivery.


Fed Ex - Domestic Delivery Times (to most locations):

• Fed Ex Home Delivery (Ground) - Two to seven days;
• Fed Ex 2-day Service - Two days;
• Fed Ex Standard Overnight - Next day by 4:00 PM;
• Fed Ex Priority Overnight - Next day by Noon.

Fed Ex - International Delivery Times:

For all services (Ground, Economy and Priority), delivery depends entirely upon destination.

Some parcels can be delayed due to Customs. Please be patient while awaiting delivery.

Return Policy

We allow returns on all products purchased on our website, to be returned within 30 days of the original ship date, except as follows:

Any sealed product may be returned within 30 days of the original shipment date for a refund (minus original shipping) as long as it is returned in the same condition as it was received. If you received a factory sealed item, that item must remain factory sealed. If you received a single card, that card must be in the same condition as when we shipped it. If the product is received back in altered condition (i.e. a sealed board game opened, a booster pack opened, a crease on a near-mint role-playing book etc.), then it will be treated as a sale to us of a used item, not as a return, and your credit will depend on what we would normally pay for that used product (if any).

Please be aware that due to the ever-changing nature of the single card market, refunds for returned single cards will be in store credit only, except in cases where we made a mistake (i.e. sent you the wrong card, item not as described, etc.). We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you have purchased a factory sealed item that is missing pieces, parts, instructions, etc., please let us know and we will contact the manufacturer to obtain replacement pieces.  

Before any return is made, we ask that you e-mail us for a Return Confirmation. Please print out the Return Confirmation e-mail and include it in the return package.

TJ Collectibles will pay for the return shipping only if we made an error. You pay for shipping if you ordered the wrong item or simply are returning a no longer wanted item. This includes exchanges. We strongly recommend insurance for the amount you expect to be refunded and tracking. We are not responsible for any shipments we do not receive.

The refund will be issued within 3-7 business days of the return of the product and via the same method you paid with (i.e. a credit on your credit card, refund via Pay Pal, etc.).

There is a restocking fee of 10%, minimum $1.00 (whichever is greater), for all returned items unless you are returning the item due to our mistake. If we are at fault for whatever reason, this restocking fee is waived.

Product Descriptions & Pricing

TJ Collectibles attempts to be as accurate with our product descriptions as possible. However, we do not guarantee or warrant that product descriptions, quantities in stock, prices and other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. If a product is offered by us and is not as described by the site, your sole remedy is to return it in used condition.

Price information published in catalogues, bulletins, price lists or on this site is not a definite quotation or offer to sell. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. TJ Collectibles cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. If an item's correct price is lower or higher than our stated price, we will contact you for instructions prior to shipping. Prices are subject to change.

Your Account & Privacy Policy 

By using this site, you take responsibility for the safety of your password and using it on our web site. You agree to take responsibility for any activity that takes place under your account or password. While TJ Collectibles does sell products useable by children, we do not sell to children. We will sell to adults who buy on behalf of children. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use our web site with the consent and overview of a parent or guardian. We reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion and without notice.

At TJ Collectibles, we are committed to your privacy. Information collected is for our sole use only and utilized so that we can better serve you by analyzing sales, market trends, etc. We will never sell or distribute the information we collect. Only TJ Collectibles management has access to this information as well as yourself or anyone you share your password with. Our employees only have access to information necessary to process and ship orders.

We will periodically send out e-mail advertisements. If you do not wish to receive these e-mails, please let us know and we will happily opt you out. You can also reply to those advertisement e-mails directly and asked to be opted out.

While TJ Collectibles, Inc. does welcome users of all ages, if you are 13 years old or younger, you may not register to use our website without permission from a parent or guardian as this is against FTC (Federal Trade Commission) rules about collection of personal information of children. Instead, we recommend you ask your parent(s) or guardian to create an account and utilize it with their permission.

For Vendors

While we appreciate your business, it has come to our attention that some vendors are watching our inventory for deals and buying us out of potentially hot cards, only to greatly raise the price later. We at TJ Collectibles are in business for our valued customers and gamers everywhere. We are not in business to supply larger vendors and be party to price fixing (which is illegal in the United States). Due to this, we are currently restricting known and suspected vendors to no more than eight (8) of an item and reserve the right to cancel your order. You will receive a notification of cancellation plus a full refund if you have paid for the order. If you are a vendor and wish to do business with us, please e-mail us directly instead. This is to protect us as well as our valued customers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Applicable Law 

By visiting and utilizing our website, you agree that the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern this Store Policy and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and TJ Collectibles, Inc.
